ROXFIT vs FORMD: which HYROX app fits you?
Updated · Rivo
ROXFIT and FORMD are built for different jobs: ROXFIT is a free HYROX® app for your race results, live race tracking, goal-time pacing on Apple Watch or Garmin and a community, while FORMD is a paid training plan to race day built around the stations costing you the most time, with a projected finish. Pick ROXFIT if you mainly want to analyse, follow and pace races, especially on Garmin; pick FORMD if you want your training written for you. ROXFIT is free, with Ultra at $15.99 a month or $79.99 a year; FORMD costs $19.99 a month, $49.99 a quarter or $139.99 a year after a 3-day trial (US App Store prices as of October 2026).
This comparison is published by Rivo, which makes a competing app, so Rivo is left out of it and mentioned once at the end. Every fact comes from the two apps’ own App Store listings and websites, read on 3 October 2026.

Which is better, ROXFIT or FORMD?
Neither across the board. ROXFIT is the pick for race results, live tracking, community, race-day pacing and Garmin, and it is free; FORMD is the pick for a structured plan built around your weak stations and for Doubles partners who want a shared plan. Athletes who want both a plan and race tracking can run ROXFIT’s free app beside a plan app.
Is ROXFIT or FORMD free?
ROXFIT is: its core app is free on iPhone and Android, and its FAQ says the app stays free, with Ultra on top at $15.99 a month or $79.99 a year. FORMD’s app needs a subscription for plans and personalised features after its 3-day trial, but its web calculator is free and needs no account: a 5K time, sex, age bracket and race type return a projected finish, a percentile and a station-by-station split.
Which predicts your HYROX finish time?
Both, in different ways. FORMD projects a finish from your inputs and logged training and, in its App Store screenshots, shows an estimated range for each station; it says athletes typically land within 2–5 minutes of its prediction. ROXFIT Ultra lists “your predicted potential for next time” beside its breakdown of every split against your best and the field.
Which gives you a training plan?
FORMD. It builds a daily plan from your race date, current fitness, training days and weak stations, and runs it through base, build, sharpening and taper phases so you peak on race day. ROXFIT’s FAQ says structured multi-week plans are not yet available; its HYPE assistant writes single workouts from text, voice or a photo, and its planner schedules them.
Which works with Garmin and Android?
Both are on Android: ROXFIT shows 100K+ Google Play downloads and FORMD 10+. Only ROXFIT lists Garmin, with a Connect IQ app in the Garmin store that runs workouts, a Free Train mode and PaceMe race plans; FORMD’s watch app is for Apple Watch.
Which is better on race day?
ROXFIT. Its PaceMe turns your goal time, division and venue into a time for every run, every station and the roxzone, lets you edit any split, and syncs the plan to Apple Watch or Garmin with live targets and a +/− delta at every split; friends can follow you live, with alerts at each station. FORMD’s listing and website describe full and quick race simulations for training, but not race-day pacing on the watch.
Which is better for HYROX Doubles?
It depends on what the pair needs. FORMD links partners with a team code, works out who takes which station, builds both plans around that split and projects a team finish. ROXFIT Ultra’s PaceMe builds a race plan for you and your partner, split station by station down to the metre.
Are ROXFIT and FORMD HYROX partners?
FORMD is on HYROX’s online training partners page, one of 21 partners there, and calls itself a HYROX online digital partner on its website. ROXFIT is not on that page. Neither app is made by HYROX.
Is there a third option?
Rivo, which publishes this page, predicts your finish free with a range and a confidence label and builds a paid plan around the station costing you most; see Rivo vs ROXFIT and Rivo vs FORMD.
