The best HYROX app for what you need

Updated · Rivo

The best HYROX® app, as of October 2026, depends on the job: ROXFIT has the most US App Store ratings of any app built for HYROX (4,207) and is free, with a paid Ultra tier at $15.99 a month, while FORMD and Repz, at $19.99 a month each, build a training plan around your weak stations. Runna and Centr add HYROX plans to large running and fitness apps, RoxPacer puts race-day splits on an Apple Watch for a one-time $6.99, and Rivo gives a free predicted finish with a range, then a $14.99-a-month plan built around the station costing you the most time.

Rivo publishes this page and is one of the seven apps, so it is listed last and judged on the same terms. Every fact about another app comes from that app’s own App Store listing or website, read on 3 October 2026. Prices are US App Store prices in US dollars and ratings are US App Store counts from the same day; the sources are at the end.

Who is each HYROX app for?

ROXFIT

For athletes who want a free app to link their HYROX results, compare every split with the field and follow races live, on iPhone, Android, Apple Watch or Garmin. ROXFIT says its app stays free; Ultra, launched on 1 October 2026 at $15.99 a month or $79.99 a year, adds Compete (racing your past efforts and friends) and Athlete IQ: every split against your best and the field, your strengths and weaknesses, division ranking and a predicted potential for next time. HYPE, its AI assistant, builds single workouts from a description, and ROXFIT’s FAQ says structured multi-week plans are not yet available.

FORMD

For athletes who want a paid daily plan to race day, built around the stations costing them the most time, with a projected finish they can watch move. FORMD finds your limiting stations, periodises training to your race date and runs sessions on Apple Watch; Doubles partners link with a team code and get a combined projection. It costs $19.99 a month, $49.99 a quarter or $139.99 a year after a 3-day trial, and its free web calculator gives a projected finish from a 5K time with no account.

Repz

For athletes who already know their weak stations and want a plan that shifts training volume to up to two of them, plus a running focus if they need it. Repz builds the plan from your race date, level and equipment, sets weights and paces for Open, Pro or Doubles, swaps exercises for kit you don’t have and shows 200+ instruction videos. It is $19.99 a month or $119.99 a year after a 7-day trial, on iPhone and Android; it has no Apple Watch app and lists no finish-time prediction.

Runna

For athletes whose weak point is the running. Runna’s HYROX plan “combines endurance and intensity with 1km repeats”, and Runna says these plans focus on the running component only; strength workouts can be added to any plan. Runna, from Strava Inc., costs $19.99 a month or $119.99 a year after a 7-day trial, and works with Apple Watch, Garmin, COROS and more on iPhone and Android.

Centr

For athletes who want a fixed 12-week HYROX programme inside a general strength and fitness app. Centr’s HYROX Starter, for a first race, and HYROX Accelerator, for a new personal best, each set five 20- to 60-minute workouts a week at home or in the gym, with race simulations in weeks 6 and 10; Centr calls them HYROX-certified. Its US App Store listing shows monthly memberships from $15.99 to $29.99 after a 7-day trial, and it syncs with Apple Watch, on iPhone and Android.

RoxPacer

For athletes who train on their own plan and want pacing on the wrist on race day without a subscription. RoxPacer splits a goal time into targets for all 16 segments, which it says are built from 92,000+ real race results, then shows a live countdown and whether you are ahead or behind on Apple Watch. Race Mode is a one-time $6.99 unlock; the app is on iPhone and Apple Watch with no Android version, has no ratings yet and was last updated on 22 April 2026.

Rivo

For athletes who lift and can’t run: a free predicted finish before they race, then a plan built around the station costing them the most time. Rivo’s free Number takes a 5 km time and your sled push and sled pull times, or a published race result you claim, and shows a finish with a p10–p90 range and a confidence label, the stations costing you time in seconds, and where you sit in your division and age group. The Plan, $14.99 a month or $79.99 a year after a 14-day trial, is built to that Number and your race date; each four-week block targets your two costliest stations, sessions go to the Apple Watch Workout app, and on race day the watch shows 16 targets, one for every run and station.

Is there a free HYROX app?

Yes. ROXFIT’s core app is free on iPhone and Android, and ROXFIT says it stays free, with Ultra as a paid layer on top. FORMD’s web calculator turns a 5K time into a projected finish, and Rivo’s Number gives a predicted finish with its range and the stations costing you time; neither needs an account. The training plans of FORMD, Repz, Runna, Centr and Rivo are paid after a free trial of 3, 7, 7, 7 and 14 days; for a plan with no app at all, see the free four-week HYROX plan for beginners.

Which HYROX app predicts your finish time?

Three of the seven. FORMD projects a finish from your fitness inputs and logged training, and its App Store screenshots show an estimated range for each station; its free web calculator works from a 5K time, sex, age bracket and race type. ROXFIT Ultra adds a “predicted potential for next time” to its breakdown of your race splits. Rivo’s free Number predicts a finish from a 5 km time and your two sled times, or from a race result you claim, and shows it with a p10–p90 range and a label for how sure it is.

FORMD says its predictions typically land within 2–5 minutes of the real race; we have not tested that claim. Repz, Runna and Centr list no finish-time prediction, and RoxPacer suggests a goal time from your profile before it splits it.

Which HYROX app builds a plan around your weaknesses?

FORMD, Repz and Rivo. FORMD finds your limiting stations from your inputs and builds the plan around them; Repz lets you pick up to two stations and a running focus and shifts volume toward them; Rivo’s Plan takes the two stations costing you most from your Number, block by block. ROXFIT’s FAQ says structured multi-week plans are not yet available, Runna’s HYROX plan coaches the running only, and Centr’s two programmes are chosen by experience, not by station. To work out your two weakest stations yourself, see how to train for HYROX.

Which HYROX app works with Apple Watch?

Six of the seven: ROXFIT, FORMD, Runna, Centr, RoxPacer and Rivo. Repz lists no Apple Watch app. On race day, three of them put split targets on the watch: ROXFIT through PaceMe, RoxPacer, and Rivo with its 16 targets on the Plan; FORMD’s watch app runs your training sessions, with timers, rest and live heart rate.

Which HYROX app works with Garmin?

ROXFIT and Runna. ROXFIT has a full Connect IQ app in the Garmin store and sends PaceMe race splits to the watch; Runna lists Garmin among its devices for its running plans. FORMD, Repz and Centr don’t list Garmin, RoxPacer is Apple Watch only, and Rivo does not work with Garmin watches. Outside these seven, Hyro tracks HYROX races on Garmin and Apple Watch for free; it is in the ROXFIT alternatives.

Which HYROX apps work on Android?

Five of the seven: ROXFIT, FORMD, Repz, Runna and Centr are on Google Play. On 3 October 2026 ROXFIT showed 100K+ downloads there, Repz 1K+ and FORMD 10+. RoxPacer and Rivo are iPhone only.

How much does a HYROX app cost?

From $6.99 once to $139.99 a year on the US App Store, apart from Centr, whose listing shows 12-month memberships at $119.99 and $152.99. By the year: ROXFIT Ultra $79.99, Rivo $79.99, Repz $119.99, Runna $119.99 and FORMD $139.99. By the month: Rivo $14.99, ROXFIT Ultra $15.99, FORMD, Repz and Runna $19.99, and Centr from $15.99 to $29.99. The free trials run 3 days at FORMD, 7 at Repz, Runna and Centr, and 14 at Rivo.

Does HYROX make its own training app?

None of these seven is made by HYROX. HYROX’s online training partners page lists FORMD, Repz, Runna and Centr among 21 partners; ROXFIT, RoxPacer and Rivo are not on it. Rivo is not affiliated with or endorsed by HYROX or Upsolut Sports.

What doesn’t Rivo do?

Rivo has no Android app and does not work with Garmin watches. It has no community feed, no live race tracking and no workout chat, and the Plan is paid after its 14-day trial. The free Number works from the numbers you type or a race result you claim; it does not read your runs from Apple Health or Strava. Rivo is new in October 2026 and has no App Store ratings yet. For the head-to-head detail, see Rivo vs ROXFIT and Rivo vs FORMD.

How was this checked?

  • Only the apps’ own words. Every statement about another app comes from its App Store listing (description, in-app prices, compatibility, screenshots, release notes) or its own website, read on 3 October 2026. Partner status comes from hyrox.com. Rivo’s facts come from its own feature list.
  • Prices are the US App Store’s in-app prices, in US dollars. Ratings are the US App Store’s counts on the same day.
  • “Not listed” means neither the app’s listing nor its website claims the feature for that app. It may still exist, or arrive later.
  • ROXFIT has the most ratings of the apps built for HYROX in the US App Store’s top 50 results for “hyrox”. Runna and Centr have more, but across their whole apps.
  • Names: ROXFIT, FORMD, Repz, Runna, Centr, RoxPacer and Hyro are used only to identify their apps, which belong to their owners; Rivo is not affiliated with any of them.
