What’s a good HYROX doubles time?

Updated · Rivo

A good HYROX® doubles time is one faster than half the teams of your type: in the 2025/26 season that meant under 1:16:11 for a men’s team, 1:23:04 for a mixed team and 1:28:12 for a women’s team. One team in four finished under 1:08:53, 1:14:53 and 1:20:25, and one in ten under 1:03:26, 1:08:24 and 1:14:26.

Those are the medians and percentiles of 339,849 Doubles team results from 98 venues, and 38,795 more in Pro Doubles. Below are the full ladder and the share of teams under each round time, how doubles works and why teams finish faster than singles, times by age group, Pro Doubles, and a team’s splits by finish time.

Ninety minutes is a useful line for any team: 83% of men’s teams, 69% of mixed teams and 56% of women’s teams beat it. An hour is rare: only 4% of men’s teams and 1% of mixed teams finished under 1:00:00. Average doubles times sit a little slower than the medians, because the slowest teams pull them up: 1:18:32 for men’s teams, 1:25:29 for mixed and 1:30:39 for women’s.

Is 1:20 a good doubles time?

For a women’s team, yes: only 24% of women’s teams were faster. For a mixed team it beats the median, with 41% of teams faster. For a men’s team it sits behind the middle: 62% of men’s teams finished under 1:20:00. Under 1:15:00 puts a mixed team in the fastest 25% and a women’s team in the fastest 11%; for a men’s team it is only just better than the median.

How does HYROX doubles work?

Two athletes race the singles course as one team: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a station in the same order as singles (SkiErg 1000 m, sled push 50 m, sled pull 50 m, burpee broad jumps 80 m, row 1000 m, farmers carry 200 m, sandbag lunges 100 m and 100 wall balls). Both partners run every kilometre. At each station the pair splits the work however they like. There is no fixed share, so a team can give the sleds to one partner and the wall balls to the other, or split every station down the middle. Teams race as men’s, women’s or mixed pairs, in Doubles or Pro Doubles; the loads each one moves are on the HYROX weights guide. New to the race? What is HYROX covers the format.

Results keep one time per team for every run and station, not who did the work, so every time on this page is a team time.

Why is doubles faster than racing alone?

Because the stations are shared and the running isn’t. The median men’s team finished 11:41 faster than the median Open man, and the median women’s team 8:07 faster than the median Open woman. Put teams and single athletes who finished in the same five minutes, 1:20:00 to 1:24:59, side by side and the trade shows: a men’s team spent 6:23 longer on the runs than a single Open man and 7:23 less on the stations; a women’s team 5:25 longer running and 6:07 less on the stations than a single Open woman.

So running weighs more in doubles: it is 55% of the average men’s team finish, against 47% of the average Open man’s. Sharing saves far more on some stations than on others. The median men’s team took 3:12 on the burpee broad jumps against 5:36 for the median Open man, but 4:32 on the row against 4:53. Every station’s doubles median is on the station times guide.

What’s a good mixed doubles time?

Mixed is the largest doubles category: 121,546 teams in 2025/26, against 106,408 men’s and 111,895 women’s teams. The middle mixed team finished in 1:23:04, between the men’s and the women’s medians. A top-25% mixed team was under 1:14:53 and a top-10% team under 1:08:24; the fastest 5% finished under 1:04:51.

HYROX doubles times by age group

Results list each team under one age group. Teams in their late twenties and early thirties are the fastest, and times change slowly after that: a men’s team aged 50–54 had a median 8:03 slower than one aged 25–29, and a women’s team 7:26 slower. Mixed teams change least with age: 5:26 between the same two groups, from 1:22:00 to 1:27:26.

One men’s team in four finished under 1:03:22 and one women’s team in four under 1:12:25. Mixed Pro Doubles is too small to publish: 24 teams in the season.

How these numbers were made

  • Source: 702,095 public HYROX results from 98 venues in the 2025/26 season, read through pyrox-client, an independent open-source client, and loaded on 2 September 2026. Only results with all 16 splits and a finish between 40 and 300 minutes count.
  • Team times. A doubles result is one row per team, with the team’s time for every run and station; the age group is the one the results list for the team.
  • Percentiles, not averages, in the ladders and age tables: top 10% is the 10th percentile of team finish times. The splits tables are averages, so each column adds up to its finish.
  • Small groups are left blank. A cell with fewer than 50 teams shows no time, and every table states how many results sit behind it.
  • Nothing here describes one athlete or one team: only counts and percentiles of groups, never a name or a single result.
