HYROX weights by division

Updated · Rivo

HYROX® Open men race with a 152 kg (335 lb) sled push, a 103 kg (227 lb) sled pull, 2 × 24 kg (2 × 53 lb) for the farmers carry, a 20 kg (44 lb) sandbag and a 6 kg (13 lb) wall ball thrown to 3 m; Open women race with 102 kg (225 lb), 78 kg (172 lb), 2 × 16 kg (2 × 35 lb), 10 kg (22 lb) and a 4 kg (9 lb) ball to 2.7 m. Pro women race the Open men’s loads with their wall ball target at 2.7 m, and Pro men race 202 kg (445 lb), 153 kg (337 lb), 2 × 32 kg (2 × 71 lb), 30 kg (66 lb) and a 9 kg (20 lb) ball to 3 m.

Every sled weight includes the sled, and the SkiErg, the row and the burpee broad jumps carry no load. Below are the Open and Pro loads side by side, the time each loaded station took the median woman and man, the loads in pounds, what the Pro weights cost athletes with the same finish time, the doubles and mixed doubles weights, and the wall ball heights. Times come from 702,095 public results of the 2025/26 season.

HYROX weights for women

Open women push 102 kg (225 lb) and pull 78 kg (172 lb), carry 2 × 16 kg (2 × 35 lb), lunge with a 10 kg (22 lb) sandbag and throw a 4 kg (9 lb) wall ball to 2.7 m. Pro women push 152 kg (335 lb), pull 103 kg (227 lb), carry 2 × 24 kg (2 × 53 lb), lunge with 20 kg (44 lb) and throw a 6 kg (13 lb) ball to the same 2.7 m target.

HYROX season 2025/26: 98,478 Open and 16,119 Pro results with all 16 splits; the median is the middle time of the whole division, at that division’s load.

The sled pull is the slowest loaded station for Open women: a median of 5:48 with 78 kg, longer than Open men take with 103 kg (4:59). Pro women’s medians run close to Open women’s on most stations despite the heavier loads, because the Pro field is fitter: its SkiErg and row medians are 4:54 and 5:07, against 5:18 and 5:32 in Open. The sled push is the exception, at 4:00 with 152 kg against 2:56 with 102 kg.

HYROX season 2025/26: 174,215 Open and 34,004 Pro results with all 16 splits; the median is the middle time of the whole division, at that division’s load.

The extra 50 kg on each sled shows in the Pro men’s medians, 3:52 on the push and 5:44 on the pull, against 3:07 and 4:59 in Open. On the farmers carry, lunges and wall balls, the faster Pro field more than makes up for the heavier load: its medians there are level with Open’s or faster.

HYROX weights in lbs

The rulebook sets every load in kilograms; these pounds are those kilograms converted and rounded to the nearest pound, and the sled weights include the sled. Where the 2025/26 rulebook printed pounds itself, it rounded two of them up: the 20 kg sandbag to 45 lb and the 6 kg wall ball to 14 lb.

  • Open women: sled push 225 lb, sled pull 172 lb, farmers carry 2 × 35 lb, sandbag lunges 22 lb, wall ball 9 lb to 8 ft 10 in.
  • Open men: sled push 335 lb, sled pull 227 lb, farmers carry 2 × 53 lb, sandbag lunges 44 lb, wall ball 13 lb to 9 ft 10 in.
  • Pro women: sled push 335 lb, sled pull 227 lb, farmers carry 2 × 53 lb, sandbag lunges 44 lb, wall ball 13 lb to 8 ft 10 in.
  • Pro men: sled push 445 lb, sled pull 337 lb, farmers carry 2 × 71 lb, sandbag lunges 66 lb, wall ball 20 lb to 9 ft 10 in.

How much time does the Pro weight cost?

The medians above compare two different fields: Pro athletes are faster on average, so their station times hide part of what the heavier load costs. Comparing athletes who finished in the same five minutes takes most of that out. These are the average splits of every Open and Pro man who finished in 80:00–84:59.

HYROX season 2025/26: average splits of the 21,690 Open and 4,241 Pro men who finished in 80:00–84:59. Difference is Pro minus Open: a plus means the Pro athletes took longer. The first five rows carry heavier loads in Pro; the rest are the same work in both divisions.

At the same finish, the Pro sled push cost 1:03 and the Pro sled pull 1:23; the heavier wall ball 29 seconds, the heavier sandbag 13 and the heavier kettlebells 10. The Pro men made all of it back where the work is the same, above all on the runs, 1:59 faster. Because they were also quicker on the SkiErg, the row and the burpee broad jumps, the Pro men were the fitter group, so the loaded-station gaps are the least the extra weight costs, not the most.

Women show the same trade, with the sled push the dearest part of the step up: these are the Open and Pro women who finished in 85:00–89:59.

To see what a station costs you rather than the field, time it at your division’s load. Rivo’s free Number turns your sled push and sled pull times and a 5 km time into a predicted finish, the range it could land in, and the station costing you the most time, in seconds.

HYROX doubles weights, including mixed doubles

Doubles weights are not halved. Women’s doubles race the Open women’s loads; men’s doubles, mixed doubles and women’s Pro doubles race the Open men’s loads; men’s Pro doubles race the Pro men’s. In a mixed pair both partners use the 6 kg (13 lb) wall ball, the man throwing to 3 m and the woman to 2.7 m.

The pair splits every station however it likes, while both partners run every kilometre together, so a team moves the same weight in less time. The median men’s team took 1:52 on the 152 kg sled push, against 3:07 for an Open man on his own; the median women’s team took 1:53 on the 102 kg push, against 2:56 for an Open woman. Team finish times for every division are in what’s a good HYROX doubles time.

The doubles weights, division by division

From the HYROX doubles rulebook for 2026/27:

  • Women’s doubles: sled push 102 kg (225 lb), sled pull 78 kg (172 lb), farmers carry 2 × 16 kg (2 × 35 lb), sandbag 10 kg (22 lb), wall ball 4 kg (9 lb).
  • Men’s doubles, mixed doubles and women’s Pro doubles: sled push 152 kg (335 lb), sled pull 103 kg (227 lb), farmers carry 2 × 24 kg (2 × 53 lb), sandbag 20 kg (44 lb), wall ball 6 kg (13 lb).
  • Men’s Pro doubles: sled push 202 kg (445 lb), sled pull 153 kg (337 lb), farmers carry 2 × 32 kg (2 × 71 lb), sandbag 30 kg (66 lb), wall ball 9 kg (20 lb).

HYROX wall ball weight and target height

Every division throws 100 wall balls, and a rep counts when the hips go below the knees in the squat and the ball hits the target. They come last, after 8 km of running and seven stations, and they are where the field spreads out most: between the median and the top quarter, 83 seconds for Open men and 74 for Open women, more than any other station. Technique and times are in the HYROX wall balls guide.

  • Open women: a 4 kg (9 lb) ball to a 2.7 m (8 ft 10 in) target.
  • Open men: 6 kg (13 lb) to 3 m (9 ft 10 in).
  • Pro women: 6 kg (13 lb) to 2.7 m.
  • Pro men: 9 kg (20 lb) to 3 m.

Do HYROX sled weights include the sled?

Yes. The sled push weights, 102, 152 and 202 kg, and the sled pull weights, 78, 103 and 153 kg, are the sled and its plates together. Each sled travels 50 m as four lengths of 12.5 m. Technique and every division’s sled push times are in the HYROX sled push guide.

Do HYROX weights change with age?

No. The loads are set by division and sex, never by age: a 55-year-old in Open races the same weights as a 25-year-old, and the age group changes only whom you are ranked against. Age decides which division you can enter: in 2025/26 Pro stopped at the 55–59 age group, from 2026/27 it is open to every age group at regular races, and at the World Championships athletes aged 60 and over race the Open weights.

How these numbers were made

  • Loads are the HYROX rulebook’s: the singles rulebook for Open and Pro, read in its 2025/26 and 2026/27 editions, which set the same weights, and the 2026/27 doubles rulebook for doubles. Pounds are kilograms × 2.205, rounded to the nearest pound.
  • Times come from 702,095 public HYROX results from 98 venues, season 2025/26, read with pyrox-client (an independent open-source client) and loaded 2 September 2026; only results with all 16 splits and a finish of 40 to 300 minutes. Doubles times are team times.
  • Medians are the middle time of a whole division. The Open against Pro tables compare the average splits of athletes whose finish fell in the same five minutes; their average finishes are within seconds of each other.
  • Nothing here describes one athlete: no group under 50 results is published.
